ITEMS history facts:

• 1992 The foundation of the company. ITEMS rents first square meters of warehouse space in Moscow and attracts Colgate Palmolive and Johnson & Johnson as its first customers.
• 1993 The Russian Government Customs Committee establishes a customs point attached to the ITEMS warehouse office.
• 1994 After two years of operation ITEMS got an award of the US Chamber of Commerce as the best company in small and medium business nomination.
• 1996 ITEMS acquires the trade, distribution, and transportation company, Optgalant, and now owns and has full operational control over 22,000 square meters of attractive, efficient warehouse space.
• 1998 ITEMS' application for an All Russia Bonded Transportation License is approved. This new service complements ITEMS. bonded warehouse service for which a long term renewal of its license is also received.
• 1999 ITEMS emerges stronger than ever from the Russian financial crisis beginning in August 1998 by offering new services and forging stronger relationships with its growing list of valued international customers.
• 2000 Strong growth of ITEMS' warehouse and logistics services is complemented by new consignment and agency services.
• 2001 Major warehouse renovation program continues with over 13,000 square meters of warehouse space now upgraded to premium standards.
• 2002 Necessary permissions are received from the Customs Committee for ITEMS to begin providing re-export services for its international customers to all the CIS countries.
• 2003 The Inter Regions Certification Center establishes a certification point attached to the ITEMS warehouse office.
• 2005 ITEMS Warehouse acquires neighboring territory and renovates one of the existing building to expand bonded warehouse facilities.
